The General overseer of the True Word Prophetic Fire Ministry, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has admonished Ghanaians particularly Christians to extend a hand to the needy in society irrespective of how best a person prays and remain righteous as it is a major cardinal that evokes the blessings of God.

He said this in an interview after donating rice and cash amount worth over GHc23,000 cedis to scores of people at Achimota in Accra.

According to him Christianity is showing love towards others as Jesus Christ did for humanity.” Giving is powerful than prayers and righteousness.

Giving is a top notch in the life of a Christian. When you give to the poor, you have lend unto God and he will provide for you in times of world It is not the large numbers at church that excite me but when I see joy on peoples face when some basic needs of these people are met, he added.

He therefore appealed to leadership of the country and fellow pastors not to deviate from their core mandate of supporting the poor as an example of Jesus Christ who cared for the ordinary person, he observed.

“Leaders are misleading us; Pastors have deviated from their expected role. They should go to the street and see how the ordinary person is suffering. Common soap for these people is a problem. They are too comfortable in their air-condition offices.” Prophet Gaisie further asked Christians to remain patient and focus to receive something greater from God in 2018 as 2017 was a preparatory stage for Christians.

The church has several branches across the world also has an orphanage home and various scholarship schemes that support brilliant but needy students.
