Royalhouse Chapel International was founded in December 1992 as International Bible Worship Centre (IBWC) after our fellowship Showers of Blessings Fellowship was renamed. Our first Sunday service took place at the Ghana Education Service (GES) Model Nursery School at North Ridge, Accra with twelve adults and five children. From GES Model Nursery School, the church moved to Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) Canteen and then to “Blackmore and Sons” warehouse at Kokomlemle, Accra , finally to Ahenfie, Obetsebi Lamptey Circle, where we are today.

“Heavens and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away…“ Mathew 24:35

In March 1999, God impressed upon the Apostle General to change the name of the church to Royalhouse Chapel International to give the church a global focus. Over these years, the membership of the church has grown from twelve to tens of thousands. The church has also spread to other nations with hundreds of local assemblies and several other international missions.

Our historic migration to our present place of worship was made on the 4th of November 2000. After an all-night at “Blackmore and Sons” warehouse, the church went on a prayer march to “Ahenfie”, at 4am. This is our crossing over from Egypt to the Promised Land. Ahenfie is thus considered by all members of Royalhouse Chapel as a land of prophecy and promise. Today, we are preparing ourselves to move into the Oil Dome which is expected to be one of the finest edifices to God’s honour with a five – storey office complex attached. This is how far the Lord has brought us. Apostle General’s encounter with the Lord

On 19th June 1991, while in Holland, I had a destiny changing encounter, which gave birth to this ministry. I had travelled to Holland to seek greener pastures to cater for my family. On this fateful day, I was asleep in my room when at midnight; I heard knocks on my door. I woke up to see who it was, (thinking it was my Indian landlord). Realizing he was not the one, I returned to bed. Around 2am, I heard the knocks again, woke up and turned the lights on to see who it was again. I did and to my amazement there was no one. Rather, I felt a supernatural presence in my room.

An audible and authoritative voice instructed me to pray. Knowing it was the Lord’s command to me, I prayed for 3 hours amidst tears. I had disobeyed the Lord when He commanded me to return to Ghana to start a ministry for Him. I had taken His grace and mercies for granted by rejecting the ‘call’. After several hours of prayer, God had mercy on me and gave me another chance. He instructed me to reach for my Bible, which immediately flipped to 1 Timothy 3:1

“This is a true saying, if a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.”
1 Timothy 3:1

God ordained me a “bishop” that morning to have oversight over His church, which will be established through me. As I meditated on this I asked, “What good can come out of being a bishop?” He responded, “JUST TRUST ME”. He covenanted with me and this has been the beginning of His faithfulness in my life and for us as a church.

Royalhouse Chapel International VISION
When God called me to build this ministry, He gave me this three-fold vision.
• Bring people into My presence through Prayer, Praise and Worship.
• Preach messages of hope that are relevant to the spiritual and physical needs of the people.
• Bring comfort to My people and provide them with a place and an atmosphere of love, care, sharing, and fellowship.

Royalhouse Chapel International AIM
At Royalhouse, we aim to grow: stronger through worship, larger through evangelism, broader through ministry, deeper through discipleship and warmer through fellowship
